About Us
We are a diverse, thriving chapter with programming that truly has something for everyone! We typically meet the second Saturday of each month. Some of our more recent events include a Halloween Basket Swap, wine tasting, Paint Nite, happy hour, brunch, an escape room, bowling, and game night... whatever we're doing, we have a great time enjoying each other's company. Ladies Who Lunch
Join the sisters of the San Fernando Valley Alumnae Chapter for our quarterly "Ladies Who Lunch" events! These events are open to all sisters, regardless of membership status to our chapter. Click here to request to be added to the email list for these events going forward!
Membership Benefits
If you’re new to the area, or just want to reconnect with sisters - we’re here for you! Members are invited to all our events (including special members-only events), plus local collegiate and international events. You also receive a year-long To Dragma subscription, and monthly “In The Loop” newsletters from AOII Headquarters.
Membership Levels
- Ruby ($60/year) Our standard membership level.
- Rose ($45/year) Exclusively available to Life Loyal sisters. Rose members are still encouraged to pay the Ruby membership price, since the extra amount will supplement our chapter funds!
- Panda ($25/year) Panda members support us while they maintain primary membership to another alumnae chapter. They are always welcome to join us at events!
- Pearl ($20/year) Eligible to new graduates only. Sisters are considered eligible if they have not previously joined an alumnae chapter & if they are joining within 5 years of their college graduation.
Where do my dues go?
Ruby members: $35 goes to International Dues (operating, technology, education/training & archive fees). $25 goes to chapter administrative & AOII travel costs (mailing supplies, 25/50 year anniversary and recognition pins, sending officers to international AOII events).
Rose members: $19 goes to International Dues, and $26 goes to chapter administrative & AOII travel costs.
Pearl/Panda members: 100% of your dues go toward chapter administrative & AOII travel costs.
